Don’t start nothin’, won’t be nothin’. The real protectors of Borikén are wide awake. 🛡️🌿

You came to our island for the sunshine and cheap drinks, but forgot it was never yours to treat like a resort sandbox. Now y’all mad at the sound of the coquí — OUR sacred nighttime lullaby, not some annoying background noise for your Airbnb stay.

These gringo tourists have the nerve to complain about our national treasure, and worse — they’re encouraging others to kill them. Talking about “how to get rid of” them online. 💀🧪 That ain’t just ignorant — it’s criminal. The coquí is a symbol of our spirit, our culture, and our resistance. Killing them? That's illegal. And that includes our reptiles, too — many of them are endangered, protected species that play a vital role in our ecosystem. 🐸🌱🦎

This is not Disney. This is Borikén — home to Taino blood, ancestral roots, and sacred song. If the sound of nature disturbs you, maybe you should've booked a trip to the damn mall instead of our living, breathing island.

Your presence is already displacing us with skyrocketing rents and gentrification. Now you’re trying to silence our spirit animals? Gringo, go home. We’re not here to babysit your colonizer sensitivities. We're here to protect what is ours. 🛑
