About Me:: I am from Maricao, Puerto Rico, with indigenous ancestry on my mother's side. I'm a professional writer. I have just started traveling full time in my custom built RV, writing about environmental issues for radio and my blog. You can follow my travels at www.auroralevinsmorales.com

Research Interests:: Indigenous Caribbean history and culture in general, contemporary political struggles, and building ties with other indigenous people in the Americas. Indigenous role in in ecological activism.

Publications:: I wrote a book called Remedios: Stories of Earth and Iron from the History of Puertorriqueñas, which retells the history of the Atlantic world through the lives of Puerto Rican women and all our kin.
