I am a Afro-Taíno Puert Rican man. I am a Taíno through the historical living legacy of their blood**, their roots, history, land, customs, culture, values and family expressed throughout my Puerto Rican ethnicity.
**As Puerto Ricans we are Tainos in our DNA (61percent). When we say we are Puerto Ricans, we are saying that we are Taíno Indians, Africans, Spaniard-Europeans and Americans. We are multidimensional - ethnically, culturally, sociologically, psychologically and spiritually.
I have worked with over 10,000 men in my vocations within spiritual and secular communities - specializing in men related issues. For the past 20 years, my career has been working with men as a professional substance abuse counselor.
I am a Certified Addiction Counselor, Certified Addiction Recovery Coach, Life Coach & Mentor, Counselor, Internet Entrepreneur, Teacher and Bookseller.
I love and enjoy reading books, on topics such as: taino people & culture, indigenous peoples of the americas and the world; spirituality, business, personal development, positive psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, male psychology & men studies; addiction issues, internet marketing, health, social issues; and enjoy meeting new people, friendships, listening to different types of music; the internet and blogging; parks and museums; movies; tea drinking; good food and good wine.
