Profile Information

About Me:
Shihan Warixi Soto was raised in New York City. Being the eldest of 3, Shihan learned street fighting at a young age, always having to defend her younger brothers.
Watching “Kung Fu” movies in the 80’s planted a seed for Shihan and watching “Bruce Lee”, “Angela Mao” and “Sonny Chiba” kick butt gave Shihan the inspiration to train in Martial Arts. Shihan started her Martial Arts career when she was 16 years old. She started with her friends doing basement “Karate”. Later on she decided to study Martial Arts in a fully accredited school, and she signed up at the “East Tremont school of Karate and Ju Jutsu”. There she met the man that would change her life forever, the world renowned and respected, the late “Shinan Antonio Pereira” Founder of “Miyama Ryu Combat Ju-Jutsu” system.

Shihan Warixi Soto is an experienced teacher who has taught Ju Jutsu to numerous men, women, children and, many in the N.Y. P. D. and the N.Y. Corrections dept. and many others in Law Enforcement. Her love of the fighting arts and her fear of the streets led her to create the programs that would teach women and children how to stay safe in the street, the playground, the home, and the office. Shihan Warixi Soto’s programs have been featured in numerous TV and radio talk shows like the “Eyewitness news magazine, “The Home” Section of the “New York Times”, The Big Apple Parents Paper”, “Warriors magazine”, “Martial Arts Today”, “Martial Force e zine”, panelist on Punto y Aparte, and featured on “The Josie Mejia’s Show” and many other venues.

She is currently a “Reiki” (hands on healing) practitioner. Shihan has said that for years she has learned how to hurt, maim, break and even kill, and she now has to concentrate on how to repair and heal the body as well as the spirit. In her spare time she writes articles, poetry and books. Her articles and poetry have been published. Shihan is currently concentrating on writing a series of children’s books that incorporate the teachings of her S.Y.C. program, as well as a street awareness handbook of tips for women of all ages.

Good day,
I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronaldmorr001@gmail.com) for full details.
Best regards,
