In addition to the books already recommended, I would add the 1979 volume by Eugenio Fernandez Mendez, titled Arte y Mitologia de los Indios Tainos de Las Antillas Mayores. It may be a little difficult to find. If you need it, but cannot get a copy, please let me know and I could probably send you a pdf of it. Good luck.

Hi, I haven't forgotten you. I've been on travel and my life has been crazy. Hopefully things will calm down in December. There will be a ceremony in February that you can attend. Tainos y Caribes Las culturas aborigenes, by Sebastian Robiou Lamarche. Taino: Precolombian Art and Culture from the Caribbean,put together by El Museo del Barrio(In English and Spanish).In regards to genealogy, what sort of info are you seeking?
