Meet Joshua Torres, the new site co-administrator

Hello again everyone, just some network news: given how absent I have been, and how great Joshua has been at meeting and greeting, I asked him to take on the job of co-administrating, which I am glad he accepted. So, if you have any troubles, there are now two people you can contact: Joshua and myself. Now this might also mean that Joshua can expel me, so I will have to be on my best behaviour for a change.

Carrie, you have a great memory! The problem with that chat program was that it caused the whole site to load slowly, and it limited the number of users, plus the dialogue was preserved online by the service provider for everyone and anyone to see, forever presumably. But this one is working now, and it is a nicer system I think. Let me know how it strikes you.

Estimada Carrie,

I am going to have to let you refer to Max on this one as I don't know how the original chat system was set up. However, I will try and look into it. Un Cordial Saludo--Josh

Max and Joshua, can you go back to the old chat system?
that worked just fine, no?

About the CHAT...now this is something funny...it won't even let me log in and I am the one who set it up, and it comes from my site which I administer. So something is very wrong and I need time to figure out why it got messed up all on its own.

Teresa, I think your comments about family research are very, very meaningful. You seem to have read my mind.

I think having an assistant is good. Doesn't mean you have to completely leave just alleviates some of the burden of trying to be here all the time. But I have a strong feeling your presence is very much welcomed along with Josh and you both make a great team. Nothing wrong in having a team, people help each other thats how you stay strong.

I know one thing Max if you did leave altogether just think of the new discoveries you would miss out on if you didn't show up here every so often.

Its like family research. You run into a wall, then stop. Start up later on and new things come up always as a surprise.

I am not only going to work more now on putting together info and family search in photo albums but anything new I learn will also be put in a historical album I plan on making so I can always go back to it and read and later pass on to my kids.

take care and I hope I can learn more and more as I visit here, Teresa

Max, I would never boot you off the system. Then who would I have to ask questions and help with the site!! Best--Josh
