I am very surprised, and shocked. She was a young person, and had contributed a lot through her work with the Amerindian Research Unit at the University of Guyana, appearing in documentaries, books, etc. I learned a lot from her, at a distance, through her writing.
I am very sorry to hear this news. Do you know any more, that you can share?
