As I quietly lay still and experience the inner stillness

of my being......uttering prayers and full of mixed emotions...

The cleansing pure essence of the sacred medicines...calms my restless spirit....

As I sit silently in my inner circle.....praying to the Creator..praying to the wisdom keepers....

praying to the ancestoral grandmothers. praying to the grandfathers......I clench my heavy heart as I witness

our children sick in the trenches of drugs and alcohol.......this is an ongoing battle with my loved ones...

My lips utter this helpless plea...praying for renewed strength, life, healing for our Nation.....and our young..

Our future generations.....let the sacred circle grow strong and our families.

I envision my prayers as light reaching beyond my subconscious mind and touching the Creators heart....

My heart feels comforted .......
