Taino Serenity Prayer
when I spoke this prayer to one of my Elders she said " it sounds like the Taino Serenity prayer" and so it was named .
Taino Serenity Prayer (morning prayer )
I ask that all that is Good to come to me ,
so that I may be supported by my own goodness.
I ask that all that is True to come to me ,
so that I may Feel my truth and have the courage to live it.
I ask that all that is Wise to come to me ,
so that I may gain wisdom from those who have gone before me.
I ask that all that is Beautiful to come to me ,
so I have the power to create beauty in the world.
I ask that these gifts ignite and inspire me
so that they bring out the best in me on this day.
