Blessings to All!

The following is an older post of mine, but I'd like to repost here , along with a few adjustments....

In the Spirit of Our Age-- it is my feeling that this is the Time for Reflection, Action, Being....
Many of us are becoming Aware of not only of ourselves but of our surroundings and of Mother Earth..

It is Time to Reflect upon Our:

Triumphs
Failures
Deeds
Misdeeds
Good Times
Not-So-Good Times

And.... as a result...

We may try to sit and Think about various ways to...

Recreate
Avoid
Imitate
Fix
Recapture
Suppress

However... we must not stop there!

Sitting, thinking, and pondering doesn't necessarily hurt but does it ever truly help?

If the objective of the Thinker is to learn from past experiences, quickly move on and implement the acquired Knowledge in Positive ways, then-----

Yes-- the Thinker becomes the Doer, a Powerful Protagonist

If the Thinker's objective is to continue to sit, over- analyze, over- agonize but Do nothing to benefit Self or Others, then----

No --- the Thinker is doomed to remain a mere Thinker, a Hapless Bystander in Life

So, this Time of Reflection---may also be a Time of Action

Time to:

Call an Old Friend
Visit a Family Member
Smile at the Neighbor
Clean the House
Give to Charity
Walk a Mile
Wake up Earlier
Speak with Kindness
Be Happy
Create something New

Thus the Doer becomes that much closer to Being..

"Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from."
