Face Book? I tired to learn more about Face Book, but my attempts to learn more meant I had to sign up first. That might have been my interpretation. So I started to sign up and when I listed I was a memebr of the Society of St. Paul, then Face Book automatically placed me into the St. Vincent De Paul group. I was unable to get Face Book to correct that so I withdrew.
Taino'ti Nitou BlueSkyWoman,

Hello Doc! Good am!
I believe you emailed me believing I was someone else. I did want to let you know so that you may retry to contact your nitou. It's horrible to remain waiting when they aren't even aware of your contact attempt!
Funny thing is that I got your email just after reading Sobaoko's account of the Spring Equinox ceremony done just last week. How wonderful that you were the one holding the hoop!
As I do not believe in coincidences nor accidents, I am at your service for any assistance I may offer. At a distance, this may be only as a sounding board, but know that I am here for you :) I do hope you do not find offense in my reaching out to you as a sister.
I won't lie, I read your email, and it seems that there is conflict within your family. This is not new in any of our families- lol! Know that you are not alone and that oftentimes, trials and tribulations can hone one's determination and provide us with the necessary Power to move forward in our path. Like you said, no one can stop what the ancestors have ordained. :) Do not lose hope.
The jingle dance is a beautiful healing dance, and our people need to heal. I am so happy to see our young ones finding the desire to heal, and to be healed, within themselves! I do hope Meghan finds her way and I will keep Anani in my prayers as well.
Know that you have a sister here in FL :)

Blessings> It is good to hear from you. I often think of you. My niece in particular is slowing asserting herself. She has a traditional Taino name , her father (hopefully) has come to the realization that he can not sto what the ancestors hav e ordained. My niece (Meghan) prayed to have her name. She wants to be a jingle dancer, however,my brother continues to become an obstacle, Pray for Anani (water flower), my niece. I spoke tonight wit Bro. Joshua, he's okay-rotten loving brother that he is:)
Bo Matun for the beautiful meditation that you posted in my message wall and the awesome video that goes with it. I bless th day that You joined our community and look forward to meeting you this Saturday.
Bo Matun for the wonderful Thunderbird song. I am glad that you were kind enough to add it to my commen wall. Also, I see by the comment that Monika Mamona left here that we might be meeting at the 8000 drums event in Georgia next month. That is trully great news. I look foward to finally meeting you.
It will be wonderful to have you come... this is a good thing. Our voices will carry on the wind to heal Mother Earth and our tears will cleanse her wounds.
if you have a personal drum please bring....
with great respect my sister
I look forward to our face to face meeting, even thou we have already met in our hearts

I agree with you comment. But you have to understand that the conquistadors purposely denied us our birthright, right from the beginig. We have taino living who dont even know. So how am I going to tell a non native to call himself taino when my people are not even allowed to call themself taino in our territorie.
