That is the best thing ,to pass it on,that's very good.This knowledge of the herbs is also maintained in the African based traditions that borrowed some or much of the herbal wisdom from the Tainos on the islands anyway. as the herbs on our Islands were different,partially at least...as well as the application /use of these herbs was no doubt also Taino in part. . Good that were participated in the memorial ceremony, a memorable experience as well.
Yes she was Frank...Unfortunately she passed away last year. She transmitted her wisdom on to her daughters. I was given the honor of participating in the role of a guest visiting behike in a special memorial ceremony at her family's home in Baracoa this past July.
