Fo sho, you’ll find gore galore and lasers -- oh yeah --  as well as a fantastically badass tomahawk on a rope. Did I say primal?  Good as it gets.   Yet Prey features in the subtleties as much as it does forceful depictions of violence-driven action. As this story takes place some 300 hundred years hence, the Predator is looking primal and feral, yet seems to be deploying SuperSensing.

Though, our heroine has some "empathetic super-sensing" capacity in her four-legged companion as well.  (Which you can view as another organ of perception).
