Do you know anything about the Carib descendants in San Vicente island. I mean those one called "yellow carib" who were allowed to stay on the island when the garifuñas were deported to roatan by the britsh?

By the way, that is an unusual name in Trinidad, not so? I can't remember ever having met another Trini with that name.

I promised Rosanna some contact information as well, so I should email both of you using the mail feature of this network just in case cell phone numbers were not meant to be advertised. Otherwise, in more general terms, you can find the Carib Community Centre at 7a Paul Mitchell Street in Arima, behind the Santa Rosa cemetery on King St. In terms of where they might stand, the organised Carib Community tends to vote solidly with the PNM.
