All are welcome to the 4th Annual Southern Virginia American Indian Festival and Pow Wow on May 11-13, 2018 at the South Central Fairground in Chase City, Virginia. We welcome you to join this celebration of Native American heritage. We are humbled to host this gathering of First Americans here, in Chase City, Virginia. Come spend a day or stay the weekend to enjoy this unique experience.
With a warm welcome, we invite the public to attend the Southern Virginia American Indian Festival as members of many tribes come together to celebrate heritage, stories, and fellowship. Friday evening bonfire with storyteller Patrick Stewart from 6-9PM. Saturday and Sunday the Gate opens at 10 so you may talk with the 16 Native American tradespeople and a few local non-Native artisans. There will be demonstrations of Village Life, Predator Bird education, and Heritage Resources. The schedule may be changed.
This is a young and growing PowWow and we have heard from tribal members from Florida to Ohio so it should be a wonderful First Americans’ Gathering and we hope you will be able to join us.
