"Lake of Betrayal" is a documentary that explores the history of the Kinzua Dam on the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania. Built to prevent flooding downstream in Pittsburgh, the dam displaced more than 600 members of the Seneca Nation. Post-screening discussion will focus on the social determinants of health including generational trauma. The evening will be moderated by Dr. Emily Elliott, Director and co-founder of the Pittsburgh Collaboratory for Water Research, Education and Outreach.
