Our Caney Circle invites our Taino relatives and all other friends to our annual WINTER SOLSTICE ceremony.

We will again celebrate the arrival of the soul of our Sky and sacred food spirit and spirit of Life and Energy, YOKA HU, at the divine womb of his mother the Earth and Water spirt ATA BEY. This, after his symbolic death at Fall Equinox in September. Later, after gestating in the uterus of the matriarch he will be reborn again at Spring Equinox in March.

We will celebrate with song and ceremony ths joyous moment when Yoka Hu conquers Death itself and you are all ivited for free.

My Sister Joanna
I absolutely know that you and your family will be with us in spirit on that day and your presence will be felt and appreciated.

My sister Ann Follette
BOY was I missquoted!!
Obviously I would never have said a ridiculous thing like that. What your friend is referring to is an article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. In this article I said that the movie "2012" which was released earlier this month was a gross misrepresentation of the sacred Mayan Calendar prophecies.
You can see the actual quote by clicking on the link above.
In fact I have been working with a traditional Maya teacher for several months now presenting the truth about the real Maya Calendar all over the east coast. Please check out or website.
I would like for you to suggest that your friend actually read the whole article carefully and see for himself or herself what I actually said before telling other people that I said the Mayan Calendar was hogwash.
Thank you for alerting me to this misunderstanding and i hope I have clarified the issue.
Bless you and your loved ones during this Solstice Season.

Takahi Guatiao,

Hahó for the invitation, Miguel. My family and I would love to be able to physically attend but we cannot make the trip to Miami from Boriké (aka Puerto Rico) at this time. However, we will be with you all in Spirit and we send you our Love, Blessings and Good Wishes. We know that a wonderful, spiritual experience will be had by all.

With Love, Hugs, Peace & Blessings,
