The MAYA TRADITION CIRCLE division of the Caney Spiritual Circle makes hand-cfrafted Maya material available to public

The MAYA TRADITION CIRCLE division of the Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle is dedicated to honoring the spiritual connections that have always existed between the culture of the ancient Tainos and the culture of the ancient Mayas. Currently we organize presentations and workshops designed to  inform audiences about the prophetic message behind the Maya Calendar.

This endeavor was founded through the co-operative efforts of Caney Circle beike, Miguel Sague and traditional K'iche Maya calendar teacher Antonio Aj Ik. The MAYA TRADITION CIRCLE entails the efforts a whole community of traditional spiritual individuals including talented craftspeople, writers and artists. The beautiful and meaningful work of these individuals is made available to anyone who chooses to learn more of this important message through the vehicle of esthetic expression.

Currently we make items available to the public for a tax-deductible contribution from the CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLE:

* THE MAYA CALENDAR TUN CODEX is a beautifully illustrated calendar designed like an ancient Maya screen-folded book which includes all 360 days of the current Maya Tun period synchronized with the western Gregorian year. It is covered with two traditional Central American Indigenous amate paper cover sheets. The front cover is hand-illustrated with a full color drawing of an ancient Maya sage. These drawings are crafted by authentic Indigenous artists from Mexico and Guatemala.

Guatemalan Mam Maya artists Mauro Chilel and Menfil Ramirez put the finishing touches on the cover art of the MAYA TRADITION CIRCLE amate paper cover.

Soon we plan to  enhance our current offerings with a full line of beautiful hand-crafted items, all associated to our  work of promoting the sacred traditions of our Maya and Taino ancestors. We invite you to keep up with our on-going work by exploring the pages of our website http://www.mayatainoprophecy.webs.com/
