That picture is adorable! Just saying hi from one Carib to another. Feel free to join the language group if you have any questions or comments about the language!
It is a beautiful photo. I am sure I have seen it in Caribbean Beat a few years back. I love your name as well and I wanted to welcome you. If you have any trouble using the network, please let me know and I will do what I can to help. In the meantime, thanks very much for joining.
OMG this little girl looks like one of my cousins. I am gona see if I can get a picture and scan it. Complextion is about the same too. Actually this little girl looks like a darker version of my sister too.
What I am saying is that the person/s who yu are looking for might not be connected to interet - hence being there might be better.
I do have a contact in the reserve if you are interested.
Thankz for accepting my friendship. I am happy to be connected to you and your people. It has been a dream of mine to meet your people which I did eventually about a decade ago.
I would like encourage the small groups who still know their language to pass it on to their young.
One time also I was thinking that a few can go to Guyana to be among the Caribs there to learn the language but I never persue the idea. Our Language is so important - that every one us should do some thing to preserve them.
My music began for the same reason - did you listen to my Macushi songs? Please do. It very similar to your People's Language.
Sorry I could get person with email contact but perhaps Everlyn Barrie (mustiqe@yoo.com) Or Mia and Provin ( miacaraprovin@gmail.com might help you be connected.
