- My Great Grandmother was born in Yocau, Puerto Rico in 1868 and was Taino descent my Grandmothers name was Candita Cedeno and my Haplo Group is A from Mtdna from Family Tree . I have been in contact with some tribal members and wish to be added on to this site Thank YouAlso all 4 sides of my family are from Puerto Rico except my gmother on the Maternal side, she was born on the Plantation in Papeeka in Hawaii in 1906. She was part of the Migration from the Island of Puerto Rico after the 1899 Hurricane .
