In search of my Taino Ancestry....

Profile Information

About Me:
I want to know more about how the Taino people can become federally recognized like every other Native American Tribe in the United States. I owe my search and this journey to my culture, my heritage and my ancestors.

My great grandmother was born in Puerto Rico and spoke of the Taino people as our ancestors and who we ARE, not were. Her name was Rafaella Colon. There's a great deal of speculation as to the surname "Colon" having links with "Colombus," so I may be Mestizo after all... My mother's father's surname is Colon as well.... If anyone here knows how and where I can go about having my DNA tested & enrolling in a local Taino Tribe, please contact me as soon as possible...

Good day,
I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronaldmorr001@gmail.com) for full details.
Best regards,
