Profile Information

About Me:
My name is Ibaya, I am an artist and visual storyteller of Andean-Arawak descent. A lot of things inspire me, but I'm really into two main topics.

First, I love plants, sustainability, and urban agriculture. I had built a sprawling, permaculture food forest (konuko) in a backyard out west. I am currently traveling east to set up my own konuko in the future.

Second, I'm very interested in the stories of indigenous peoples. I've been especially focused on the Taino of the Greater Antilles and the Runa of South America. My illustrations hold educational and spiritual meaning by combining my deep passions for ecology, biochemistry, and spirituality. Through my journey with reconnection I come across many deep stories between Mother and her children. I would like to share these stories with you.

Through blogs I will provide key search words, links to videos and sources wherever possible, and provide suggestions where you can further explore and ignite your curiosity.

A lot of my content is provided for free via social media.
