About Me:
I teach Spanish-Language Cultural Studies and interdisciplinary methods and research. I am interested in cultures in contact, especially in pre-Hispanic times, but also in how certain indigenous groups were brought to the Caribbean and Gulf Coast to serve as colonists for Spanish expansion efforts.

Concentrations in Anthropology and Art History with secondary work in Latin American Literature (in Spanish and Portuguese).
