Good day, I have something very important to disclose to you, could you please get back to me on (ronmorri01@gmail.com) for full details. Best regards, Ronald Morris.
I would like to know if there are native communities in your island.
What are their name ? Their location ?
I'm writing a book about the amerindian's heritage in the Caribbean culture.
As a french anthropologist, I have already plenty informations about the french west indies.
So, your help will be appreciate and credited.
Thank you for sharing.

We are no longer a pure race people which can be found in Diminica or Guyana still as pure blooded. Sad buts that another story concering the Spainards!
the unfortunate thing to answer your question is thta to my knowledge and Mr. Ricardo Bharath Hernandez or any expert on the Caribs in Trinidad will tell you.
There aren't anymore "pure blooded " Caribs ( Karinyas) We are all Bi/Multi-racial now but proudly hold and make known our Amerindian heritage/roots to the world.
Hello Ruben I asked myself the same question growing up. See alot of Trinis focus on the Caribs (Karinyas) in Arima as though they are the only group left on the island(country) I myself am from Arima but my mother's family from whom I obtain my Karinya (Carib) descen are from a city originall know or call San Jose De Oruna now the English changed it to St. Joseph. They are from Maracas, St. Joseph he first capital of Trinidad not known to many.
A very warm welcome Keston Bravo! It is always great me for me to be in touch with Trinidadians, and a special privilege for Karinya/Caribs to join this network. If you encounter any problems, please feel free to call on me.
