Welcome to our network. I notice that you identified your Boriken mom as Taino and your Cuba dad as guajiro. Of course every human being has the right to identify himself or herself in any way that he or chooses however I want to point out to you that Cuba is also Taino land and those of us who are from Cuba (guajiros) are also Tainos. As Tainos we follow the ancient tradition of our ancestors. I noticed you are from Florida. We celebrate traditional Taino Winter Solstice Ceremonyat Womens Park in Miami every December. I hope you can find time this coming winter to share tradition with us there.
I hope you find your membership in this network informative and interesting and please don't hesitate to contact either the official moderators THE COUNCIL OF WOMEN or myself if you ever have any questions.
