- I am a trained socio-cultural anthropologist [principally @ the Univ. of Pittsburgh]; currently [2008+] based in NJ; an educator with community/civic engagement, and governmental & higher-ed administration experience for decades; prior field research in the Dominican Republic, where I also taught. Addtionally, I have taught/researched in Puerto Rico, NY, and NJ.
