- I’m a local family doctor and am developing an emerging interest in the pre-contact Taino people. I am trying my hand at writing. So any resources are helpful. The information out there is so fragmented, however there appears to be a wealth of fragments and amazing untold stories. People out there in the world really need to hear of these incredible Taino people who lived in harmony with the natural world . and in the modern western world of today, we have so much to learn from the Taino, nearly forgotten to history because of the tragedies of history.there has never been a more important time to get to know them, and its never too late.
