ahhhh!
I thought this was about Jacanas, I did not know it was from 2005!
it is wonderful when our islands connect and it is especialy profound when our art is realized later as premonition my dear!~peace&luv~c

This is a drawing based on sculptures found in the Museum of Man in the Dominican Republic. I did the original drawing then scanned the image and manipulated it in Photoshop.

The image is that of Atabey, the Earth Mother and a cemi at her upper left.

My idea at the time (2005) was archeologists finding things right under their noses. Little did I realize at the time, that it would happen in Jacanas, Puerto Rico. I will be posting more of my artwork in the future.
