Celebracion Taina de Luna Llena en Lancaster PA Mayo 2015.....Taino Full Moon Ceremony in lancaster PA May 2015

El dia 2 de Mayo 2015 se celebro en la ciudad de Lancaster, Pennsylvania, la ceremonia taina de Luna Llena segun la tradicion del Circulo Indigena Espiritual Caney. La ceremonia fue guiada por nuestra hermana spiritual, Bibi Erlinda Toa Kao Cruz que es behike oficial del Circulo Caney en esa ciudad, asistida por su hermano Kasike Mark Guatu Iri Ortiz, que esta estudiando para recibir su titulo de behike del Circulo. La ceremonia se llevo a cabo en el centro comunitario de Yukayeke Manicato. Kasike Guatu Iri nos a proveido estas fotos como documentacion de la ceremonia.

On May 2 2015 the sacred Taino ceremony of Full Moon was celebrated in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in keeping with the tradition of the Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle. The ceremony was led by our spiritual sister Bibi Erlinda Toa Kao Cruz who is the official Caney Circle behike in that city, assisted by her brother Kasike Mrk Guatu Iri Ortiz, who is presently studying to receive his title of behike of this Circle. Theceremony was celebrated at the community center of Yukayeke Manicato. Kasike Guatu Iri has provided us with these photos as documentation of the ceremony. 

Queremos felicitar a nuestros hermanos espirituales miembros del Yukayeke Manicato de Lancaster por su trabajo en esa ciudad de educar y llevarle a nuestra gente taina alli la verdadera tradicion de nuestros antepasados. 

 

We want to congratulate our spiritual relatives members of Yukayeke Manicato in Lancaster for their fine work in that city, educating and bringing to our people there the true tradition of our ancestors.
