Defending Waters Western Pennsylvania July 10 2021

May be an image of 15 people, people standing, tree and outdoors

Our Seneca Indigenous friends of western New York and western Pennsylvania are fighting to save the sacred waters of the Allegheny River, which in their language is known as the OHI:YO'. This past Saturday July 10 2021 I spent the day with two fellow Tainos and a wonderful non-Taino woman-of-strength ally at a special action camp-out in the beautiful Allegheny National Forest of northwestern PA close to the Seneca Nation of Indians reservation where important environmental issues and strategies were discussed. https://defendohiyo.org/
