Este Sabado pasado participamos en la sexta celebracion anual del FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE COMIDA LATINA en la ciudad de Youngstown, Ohio. El evento fue patrocinado por la  ORGANIZACION CIVICA Y CULTURAL HISPANA AMERICANA en su sede, en la calle Shirley Road de esa ciudad.

My Realatives

This past Saturday we participated in the sixth annual INTERNATIONAL LATIN FOOD FESTIVAL in the city of Youngstown, Ohio. The event was sponsored by the ORGANIZACION CIVICA Y CULTURAL HISPANA AMERICANA at its home site on Shirley Street in that city.

Fui invitado  a participar en el evento por nuestra behike, representante del Circulo Espiritual Indigena Caney en el estado de Ohio, Rosa AnaO Quinones.

Rosa tambien representa la CONFEDERACION UNIDA DEL PUEBLO TAINO en ese estado.

I was invited to participate in the event by our behike, representative of the Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle in the state of Ohio, Rosa AnaO Quinones.

Rosa also represents the UNITED CONFEDERATION OF TAINO PEOPLE in that state.

Con la colaboracion del hermano de Rosa, David Jorge y sus hijas ofrecimos una presentacion de musica y danza indigena taina. Tambien colaboramos con danzantes del grupo Red hawk para hacer presentacion de danzas indigenas de Pow Wow norteamericanas.

With the collaboration of Rosa's brother David Jorge and his daughters we offered a presentation of Taino Indigenous music and dance. We also collaborated with  the group Red Hawk to make a presentation of North American Indian Pow Wow dances.
