Greetings all,
I was wondering if anyone has come across Eugenio Fernandez Mendez research? If so what do you think? I came across his book Art and Mythology of the Taino indians which was something I really enjoy studying his book, his speculative approach is different as he gives his take with what I saw the relationship between the Greater Antilles and Mesoamerica as well Southamerica. He also gave alot correspondences from many new world accounts such as Las Casas and others. What I got from it that there was abundant trading between islands and the main land both to north and south. If anyone could add to this, thanks.

Will do. Am surprised not many are familiar with him there is a lot to consider and look over most most notably his attempt to interpret the Antillean Cemis, found his work to be very speculative and hands on. Great work
My brother
Actually I base a great deal of the tradition and belief that we use in the CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLEon the writings of this brilliant Boricua scholar. Please visit our website and check out how much of what we teach is actually based on Fernandez-Mendez
