It was an honor for me to attend one of the days of Indigenous Peoples Day weekend celebration PoWow on Randals Island, New York City Oct 10 2021. I was accompanied by NYC Caney Circle behike Tilou Balan (Lil Wolf).

What a pleasure to run into my good friend, the kasike of Yukayeke Guainia and director of the UNITED CONFEDERATION OF TAINO PEOPLE, Roberto Mukaro Borrero.

I even ran into an old acquaintance from the early days of the Taino Resurgence Movement, the artisan Ramon (Taino Ray).
