I think that the point the artist is making is much deeper. He seems to be saying that no one group, has ultimate power over the meaning of a word.

However, as Indigenous person/s, using such term used by the Colonials and present society loosely to refer to Amerindians in Guyana is a way of confirming /accepting the term without realizing that it is really a way of degrading our Peoples to the level of Animal Kindom.
