This weekend September 24 and 25 2022, we here at the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center are celebrating our 43rd annual pow wow at our Singing Winds site in the Dorseyville community north of Pittsburgh PA.

For the first time since I joined the Indian Center here I had the honor of dancing the official flag of the UNITED CONFEDERATION OF TAINO PEOPLE into the arena at Grand Entry. It was such a thrill to represent my Taino people.

And to see our Taino flag flying there along side the Indian Center flag and all the other flags and staffs.

As she does every year Leni volunteered both days in the kitchen making fry bread. That girl is a trooper!

Lots of powerful dancing and good times this weekend here in Pittsburgh
