December 21, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm – Ceremony Site
El fin de semana del 30 de Julio 2015 se celebro la ceremonia de Luna LLena segun la tradicion taina del Circulo Espiritual Indigena Caney en Lancaster, Pennsylvania, oficiada por el behike del Circulo Caney, Guatu Iri, quien es kasike del Yukayeke Manicato de Lancaster. La ceremonia se llevo a cabo en el centro comunitario y museo taino del Yukayeke Manicato. Tambien se celebro esta tradicion taina en el estado de Ohio bajo la direccion de nuestra behike del Circulo Caney Dr Rose AnaO Quinones, y en Liberty, New York bajo la direccion de nuestro beike bajo entrenamiento, Heriberto Garagua'Niki Martinez, en los Poconos bajo la direccion de nuestro behike en proceso de entrenamiento, Bruce Urayoel, y en Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania bajo la direccion del behike bo del Circulo Caney, Miguel Sobaoko Koromo Sague.
De parte del resto de la comunidad sagrada del Circulo Caney atravez del continente americano es mi honor mandarles un caluroso saludo de solidaridad a todos nuestros tiaono que estan observando y manteniendo esta tradicion sagrada cada mes en todos esos locales . Seneko kakona.
This last weekend of July 30 2015 the Full Moon Ceremony of the Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle was celebrated in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, officiated by the behike of the Caney Circle, Guatu Iri, who is also the kasike of the Yukayeke Manicato of Lancaster. The ceremony took place at the Taino community center and museum of the Yukayeke Manicato in Lancaster. This Taino tradition was also observed in the state of Ohio under the direction of our Caney Circle behike Dr Rose AnaO Quinones, and in Liberty, New York under the direction of our behike-in-training Heriberto Guaragua'Niki Martinez, in the Poconos under the direction of our behike-in-training, Bruce Urayoel, and in Pittsburgh under the direction of the behike bo of the Caney Circle, Miguel Sobaoko Koromo Sague.
In behalf of the rest of the sacred Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle community accross the American continent it is my honor to send a warm greeting of solidarity to all our tiaono who are observing and maintaining this sacred tradition each month. Seneko Kakona.
