My bio name is Angel Barboza. Adopted at an early age, born in Massachusettes. I was raised bye a single mother of a Native, French American back ground. I was cut off from any communication with my family, my heritage, my peoples spirituality. Forced to change my birth name to a more racially acceptable name. I lost my identity.
Now as an adult I seek to learn about my people. Both modern and ancient. I want to teach my son his Puerto Rican / Taino heritage. It is important to me.
