- My mother's family is from Cayey (father's surname is Ramos) and my father's family is from Barranquitas and Orocovis: the Colon and Malave family. I was raised in Barranquitas. My Husband's family is from Orocovis. I am really interested in history and do a lot of independent study.

- I love history and keep an open mind as there is a lot of "misinformation" out there. I truly believe in sharing knowledge and I am constantly feeding my mind with not only our Taino history, but world history in general. I believe that we are all interconnected in one way or another, but please note that I am very aware of the uniqueness of our people. At this very moment, I have a keen interest in linguistics.
