About Me:
A family such as mine is very fond of the culture and loves to show this in two ways, food and music. When my mom come Los Angeles , California in pursuit of my father. He left from Puerto Rico after being offered job as a musician . Paid to do what he loves most , playing salsa music. He was taught by his father. who encouraged him at an early age.
I believe appreciation for the the culture comes naturally when you are born and raised on the native land.
It has been a challenge for me to learn some important traditions and or concepts, so they too know how blessed they are to be Puerto rican. To be able to contiue in their own cultures activities.

Research Interests:
Currently my focus is on my dependency case and San Bernadino County Children and family services. I have been ridiculed and laughed at by every official in the court room. After the insults the judge denies my request for a blood test as caseworkers continue ignore the information given to them to establish Indian ancestry, which is the only means to protect the children from harm and or come to fair resolution .
Publications:
I have documentaion my ongoing dependency case that began on November 2012 when my children were wrongfully removed from our custody. Dependency courts fails to recognize that the County has not been able to protect the children from harm on more than just an occasion. Continued detention of the Pena minors goes against the intentions of the court. No one has been able to help us. A 36
Coming up in February case worker seek to implement permanency plans. This will be the permanently splitting all 3 sibling into 3 separation of the children and 3 children. Adoptions being considered are out of state, and an other to a Japanese family who will not teach or instill all of what we think is very important part of any Puerto Rican The right to know who where they came from. So If Tribal enrollment is possible and if you can help I any way please contact me either way, and let me know of anything that may be able to help our family be together again.
