Actualmente hay en Bayamon una escuela llamada Cacique Majagua. El cacique se menciona en varios documentos historicos del siglo XVI. Fue bien conocido por el primer gobernador de Puerto Rico Juan Ponce De Leon durante los anos 1508 - 1511. Rescatemos del olvido al cacique majagua, dueno taino del yucayeque bayamones.

Gracias guaitiao majaguany. Debo advertirte que la informacion sobre el mundo indigena del Boricuazo es mayormente equivocada. El autor no se documento responsablemente. No hubo un cacique llamado ''Bayamongo"", eso es un relajo. Tampoco esta documentado el que Majagua haya sido de Bayamon. Esa fue la interpretacion de Calletano Coll y Toste hace unos 100 anos. Pero el cacique Majagua si existio. Mi opinion es que debio vivir en el nor-este de la isla. Pero tampoco tengo documentacion que lo confirme/
