The Caney  Spiritual Circle Taino Full Moon Ceremony was celebrated this past weekend in various parts of the North American continent where the culture of our Taino ancestors is currently being honored.

In the state of New Jersey it was celebrated two times, on Saturday August 29 at the home of our brother Tomas Baibramael Gonzalez, officiated by myself, and on Sunday August 30 at the home of our Caney Circle behike Kasike Guatu Iri, officiated by him.

These photos present a glimpse of the Full Moon Ceremony guided by Behike Guatu Iri this past Sunday at his home;

After lighting the two symbolic torches the woman who represented AtaBey recites the sacred words: "We Women Have Within Us the Rhythm of the Universe"

In the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania our CANEY CIRCLE behikes, Karmen White Hawk Jaguar Chavez Mogdam and Tenanche Cemi-Ata Rose Golden served as spiritual leaders to officiate the rituals at the home of our friend CherylAnn Hawk.

These two events are just two more examples of the growing energy o the CANEY CIRCLE. Our ceremonial tradition continues to expand and the teachings of YokaHu, AtaBey, the sacred cemies of our forebears and the ancestral wisdom continues to reach more and more of our people, be it on the islands or accross the whole Taino diaspora. These ceremonies were carried out all at the same time that I was in Union. New Jersey. celebrating the same ceremony with our brothers and sisters who live there The sacred torches were lit and the women, with the assistance of the men, again confirmed their link with the divine cycle of AtaBey, the GREAT MOTHER.
