Announcing a New Blog! REVIEW OF THE INDIGENOUS CARIBBEAN CENTER

I am happy to announce the new blog, The Review of the Indigenous Caribbean Center (RICC).

We are looking for persons in this network, the ICN, who are fair to good writers, who have some experience with using blogs and writing for blogs, and who would like to be one of the regular collaborating authors to the blog.

A regular contributor would aim to produce at least one post per week, on any topic of relevance to the indigenous Caribbean or the wider indigenous world -- new sites announced, reviews, essays, news, commentaries, all of these are possibilities for posting and you can look at The CAC Review for some indication of what has been covered in the past (see below).

If interested in collaborating, please send me, Max Forte, a message on this network, or write to me at max.forte@openanthropology.org. Most of all, I would need the exact email address you would be using to log in to blogspot.com.

As some of you know, for a number of years the newsletter of the Caribbean Amerindian Centrelink was The CAC Review (some of you are subscribers). Recently a lot of changes have been taking place, one of those being the renaming of the whole set of projects that made up the CAC. The CAC is now the Indigenous Caribbean Center, and is currently being redesigned and moved. The point is to allow for a transfer from academic control to indigenous direction, while minimizing my own role and presence in these networks and projects. The creation of the Indigenous Caribbean Network was the first effort to move past the limitations of the previous 10 years of online work.
