Much of the most spectacular imagery of our ancestors has remained hidden in the darkness of mysterious caves of our islands. Now through the miracle of a new photographic technology called "GigaPan" many of these images are being opened to the eyes of our people. In Dominican Republic the extraordinary iconography of the Deminan Caracaracol sacred narrative is plainly laid out on the wall of a cave site called Hoyo De Sanabe. These images and many many others are available at a National Geographic site specially dedicated to this wonderful new technology.
To enjoy the CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLE version of the Deminan sacred narrative please visit our TAINO CHRONICLES webpage and read the old story yourself.
