Tau Guatiao,
Bo-matum for the invitation but I regret to inform you that I will not be able to attend this special event in NYC. It's been quite a few years since I last visited the National Museum of the American Indian or last had the pleasure of seeing the Thunderbird Indian Dancers and Singers. I don't know if Louis Mofsie remembers me and my family but please give him our warmest regards. Ít's been almost ten years since we moved back home to Borikén to stay but we stll miss our powwow friends and family. That's why it was great seeing you all a couple of years ago at the Gateway Powwow in Brooklyn, NY, and why I hope to be in NY sometime next year. Until then, may YaYa Bless you all, now and always, and may your event a good one.
Tio Bo Guatukan,
Love, Hugs, Peace & Taíno-tí,
Joanna & Family
