BORICUAS, CUBANOS, DOMINICANOS

Have many roots, they are like children rooted to our family tree.

We love our roots like a Parent loves its children.

We love them all equally.

We honor the Taino as our Primera Raiz (first root)
We honor Taino to bring awareness of our Culture, that we are still
here
We honor Taino to bring us FULL CIRCLE

Honor Taino
Honor your first root like a Parent loves all its children
Not favoring one over another

We honor our Taino Hands, because they worked
We honor our Spanish hands, because they worked
We honor our African hands, because they worked

All of those hands make us FAMILY
All of those hands make us

White man clothing is what we wear all the time my friend.

Some of it can be enticing. Just check out the latest Fredericks or Victoria's catalog.

Hee, hee, hee.

And they are the basis of your shirts.

But I do like what you are doing. It takes a lot more creativity to make something yours than it does to paint petroglyphs or sew seashells onto white cotton burlap.

And yours are more traditional.

But don't tell no one I told you that.

Hee, hee.

I didn't know anyone was interested in that blog.

Ha, ha, ha.

You are the only one who knew. Are you traditional?

Ha, ha.

What kind of costume do you put on?

Hi Caracoli...the inspiration for my paintings is my desire to bring history alive. Hopefully I'll be able to create an exhibit to be shown in history museums...like I have with my paintings of Florida's Lost Tribes. I think I met Dan Townsend when I had my gallery a few years back....great work. I'll check on Penny Slinger, thanks.
