Event Description

We invite our Taino friends and all those who are interested in the spiritual tradition of our Taino ancestors to our annual Summer Solstice Ceremony sponsored by the CANEY INDIGENOUS SPIRITUAL CIRCLE and the UNITED CONFEDERATION of TAINO PEOPLES in Youngstown Ohio.
There will be traditional Taino Indigenous ceremonial music and dance. Since there will also be communal food sharing we request that all participants bring a covered dish.

I will add my prayers for this event and set out some tobacco for everyone. I will not be able to attend in person, but I encourage any who can to do so.
