    Hello Mr. Koromo~

Thank you for the invitation... I would love to attend, but have a prior commitment for tomorrow.

I am very much interested in attending, connecting, learning, and participating in future events I reall appreciate you keeping me informed. I feel I would be most able to participate in events that are a day long, etc because I live in Wilmington, DE and believe where you are located is a bit of a distance.

**I tried to send this message to you directly, but ws unable...I'm not sure if it's a problem with the site or my computer...?

    With Gratitude and Blessings~

    Roxanne

    Blessings Miguel~

Thank you for your message. No problem regarding the response.

There may be a possibility for you to come to Delaware for Ceremony sometime in the Spring or early Summer.  I'm not sure.   I believe that you would enjoy this area of people and places of nature.

    With All Light~

  • Edgar Retana

Sorry I didn't mean to offend with my playing out metaphor, what I was cruelly asking was about the Taino language reconstruction projects, not the cultural revivals
  • Guaribo Naboria

Hello my brother . I would like to have a Taino wedding in the future. Not so sure were yet. Could you please tell me a little about this ceremony or who does the ceremony ? Thank you abrazos.
  • Ramon Aquino

Thanks for your kind invitation and offer to share.

What I seek is to integrate The Tainos in Hispaniola (Haiti and Dom Rep) into a coherent group as the Puerto Rican Natives had done.

I will devour your blog when time allows.

I do need inmediate help getting the names of the first rebellious Cacique in Boriken.

Cuba had Hatuey. Haiti had Lemba and Dominicans had Enriquillo. Which one is the equivalent in Boriken?

Much Help needed and appreciate it.

My brother! I was just sending you a message.. I actually did a semester-long research project on the lack of awareness and education among Cubans regarding their indigenous past. This is what I hope to continue researching as a graduate student. I am happy to have found this community.

    Blessings!

  • Lyz

Friend, that project is somewhere in an old computer, but I will look around for it. However, I would be happy to email you a copy of a paper discussing assimilation and acculturation.

Also, I have been chosen as Vice-President of the newly formed Global Indigenous Group at Florida International University. We are planning to have a big celebration on September 7. We are looking for performers, storytellers, vendors, crafts, etc. If you know of anyone, send them my way. I will announce it to the community when we have a few more details figured out!

    Blessings!

  • K.A.Silva Lopez
