About Me:
I am interested in getting small (ca. 100 mg or the volume of the eraser in a new pencil) samples of amber (either unmanipulated or manipulated by humans to produce an artifact) from the circum Caribbean region (except the Dominican Republic or Chiapas, Me'xico). Of special - but not unique - interest is Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, and Trinidad/Tobago.

Hi!  Welcome to the ICN!!

My name is Miguel and I am one of the moderators of this site. I am at your service :). Please take a moment to review the Conduct Guidelines so as to familiarize yourself with community expectations. I hope you enjoy your interactions here as much as I have. There is a lot of wisdom and knowledge here.

I am intrigued by your motivation in joining our community since it is obvious that you are searching for people who may possess some very specific amber. Good luck with your research.

Perhaps there may be something in your paleobiology work that may be of value to our community here. I want you to know that such sharings would be welcome.

I look forward to reading your posts! Oma'bahari,
