I am a teacher, a American Indian Culture Trainer, Spiritual leader, A Grandmother.
I have produced two films. 1492 Discovery or Invasion. My speaker was Daniel Osuna. I also produced a film about myself and healing with traditional medicine and spiritual recovery. Breast Cancer: A Survivors Story. In my early years I was an advocate for Native Prisoner Rights and was featured in the film: A Chaplains In-service Seminar: Native American Indians. Our group developed Native Theology that is still in use today at all Michigan Prisons. We talk about the role of women, sacred bundles, sweat lodges and how the prison system can understand better how to treat Native Prisoners. All are available for loan at www.utfav.org

Mexicans are very similar to the Native Americans, and some Californians of Indigenous ancestry share Spanish Names that wer given to them by the Spanisch missionaries.
