Honoring the 5th Infantry Regiment Boriqueneers- we need your help finding these warriors!

Turabo Taino Jaguar Warrior Society needs your help to honor our Boricua warriors! We are volunteers with the 65th Infantry Regiment Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Alliance in bringing honor to where honor is long past due. Lets come together in unity to accomplish this worthy cause.

We are looking for currently living members of the 65th Infantry Division. This is a collective grass roots movement made up of Boricua patriots trying to get Congress to present the Congressional Gold Medal to these living warriors.

Of all the honors the United States can bestow, the awarding of a Congressional Gold Medal (CGM) is often considered the most distinguished in cases like this. The CGM has already been bestowed to other minority veterans who served in segregated units, including:

the Navajo Code Talkers (July 26, 2001)
the African-American Tuskegee Airmen (March 29, 2007)
the Japanese-American Nisei (May 26, 2012)
the African-American Montford Point Marines (June 28, 2012).

It would be an honor for the 65th Infantry "Borinqueneers" to be added to this distinguished list.

We need your support for our warriors to recieve the Cogressional Recognition of the 65th Puerto Rican Regiment by taking a little bit of time and sending the information on how to contact them, that is all!

If your relative who served in the 65th has passed away please send their name, rank, and when they served as plans are being made for their honoring as well.

Es una pena que no se pensó en eta medalla antes. Desgraciadamente mi padre murió hace tiempo. Pero tengo recuerdos de este batallón.
